Membership and What It Unlocks
Membership
You don't need to be a member to use the Hub, but some content and prices are for members of The Menopause Society. This guide explains what membership changes in the Hub, how to join, and where to see your status.
What Membership Changes
- Prices. Store products and some application fees have a lower member price. Non-members and visitors who aren't signed in pay the non-member price. Members in training have their own price where one is offered.
- Members-only content. Some Academy courses and library content are for members only. A card marked Members Only with a lock, or a page headed This course is for members, means you need a membership to open it. Whether the Menopause journal is members-only depends on how the TMS team has set it up.
- Programs. Some scholarships and funding programs are only open to members.
Anything you have bought stays yours, even if your membership lapses.
How to Join
- Click Become a Member. If you aren't a member, you'll find it in the top bar, on your My Hub Account card, and at the bottom of this page. It opens menopause.org/become-a-member.
- Join on menopause.org.
- Sign in to the Hub with your Menopause Society account. The Hub picks up your membership when you sign in.
Seeing Your Membership Status
- Top bar: members have a Member badge under their avatar. Certified practitioners have an MSCP badge instead.
- My Hub: the Account card says Thank you for being a member! If your membership is due to expire soon or has expired, it says Renew Membership with the days remaining.
